What is BioPark Jump?
BioPark Jump is the new funding program for start-ups in the fields of healthcare or life-sciences, directly on the campus of the University of Regensburg. BioPark Jump supports start-ups with creative ideas and new approaches that have the potential to be successful in the healthcare market! This can be many things, for example new therapeutics, innovative diagnostics, digital solutions to improve patient care or the optimization of working conditions in the healthcare sector.

Whether it’s a grant, your first presentation to investors or an important lecture – in our two-day pitch training course, you will receive personalized feedback and practical tips from experienced coaches to help you successfully master your next pitch. The registration deadline is 15th of November.

M4 Award – Call for application
The m4 Award pre-seed competition is aimed at academic research projects with spin-off potential in the field of biomedicine. Up to five teams receive a maximum of 500,000 euros for up to 2 years. Application deadline for round 1 is November 21, 2024.

Our accelerator program supports HealthTech start-ups and start-ups in the fields of biotechnology, pharmacy, analytics and diagnostics. Regardless of whether you are still studying, have just graduated and have been researching an application-oriented idea or are already in professional life and are now looking for a new challenge – BioPark Jump is your contact point in Regensburg for the next steps in founding your company.
By participating in our accelerator, you will be familiarized with the regulatory requirements of the healthcare market at an early stage of product development. This is because start-ups in the healthcare industry or life sciences require special knowledge that goes beyond the usual entrepreneurship essentials such as a good business plan or an innovative technology.
